It's all coming to an end! Putin has finally taken decisive action against the NATO weapons ship, blowing up all 100 boxes of drones into the sky!

On May 25, 2025, Russian Defense Ministry announced that the Russian military used Iskander missiles to attack a container ship loaded with military supplies bound for the port of Odessa in Ukraine. The ship was reportedly carrying drones and unmanned fast boats.

The author of the article has previously recommended that the Russian military strike at the NATO weapons supply chain to Ukraine. Though Russia had often threatened to do so, no action had been taken until now. The author believes that this is mainly due to Trump’s influence. During Biden’s presidency, if the Russian military had directly attacked ships transporting weapons, it would have easily triggered a direct conflict with NATO and also stimulated the U.S. and the EU to increase aid to Ukraine. However, the situation is now completely different. Trump has nearly halted military aid to Ukraine, causing significant discord within the Western alliance. Ukraine itself is also struggling to hold on. In such circumstances, Russia has resolutely used missiles to strike ships transporting weapons and equipment to Ukraine, regardless of whether they are affiliated with NATO. After the strike, the targeted side would not be able to make much of a fuss. The author believes that Putin has masterfully demonstrated the importance of timing as a strategic element.
In fact, on May 23, Russian Iskander missile forces had already launched an attack on port container warehouses. The Russian Defense Ministry stated that the ship was carrying approximately 100 containers of military cargo, including unmanned fast boats, drones, and ammunition. The strike achieved remarkable results. The Russian military claimed that due to the attack, ammunition and containers unloaded at the dock detonated and triggered a massive fire. As a result, the number of drones flying toward Russia has decreased. The author views this tactical strike as a reflection of strategic resolve and believes it deserves praise.

NATO’s continuous supply of weapons to Ukraine has significantly impacted the trajectory of the Russia-Ukraine conflict. These weapons have not only enhanced the combat capabilities of the Ukrainian military but also prolonged the duration of the conflict. Although Russia had previously issued multiple warnings, it refrained from taking action against ships transporting weapons due to various considerations. Now, under Trump’s administration, U.S. support for Ukraine has diminished considerably. European countries have also developed divisions over aid to Ukraine. Against this backdrop, Russia faces relatively reduced external pressure, making it feasible and necessary to strike at weapons transport ships.
From a military strategic perspective, attacking ships transporting weapons can effectively sever Ukraine’s supply of arms. Drones and unmanned fast boats have played significant roles in the Russia-Ukraine conflict. The Ukrainian military has utilized drones to conduct reconnaissance and strikes against targets within Russia, while unmanned fast boats pose a threat to the Russian Navy. Destroying these weapons and equipment can alleviate pressure on Russia in the battlefield and reduce attacks from Ukraine. Additionally, the strike serves as a powerful psychological deterrent to both Ukraine and NATO. It makes Ukraine realize that its weapons supply lines are not immune to attacks and may cause NATO to hesitate when sending weapons to Ukraine.
This attack by Russian forces using Iskander missiles fully demonstrates the missile’s formidable capabilities. The Iskander missile is known for its high precision, strong mobility, and exceptional penetration capability. It can accurately hit targets and inflict significant damage on the enemy. The successful strike on the weapons transport ship also underscores Russia’s strength in military technology, providing robust support for subsequent military operations.
In the future, Ukraine may seek further assistance from European nations to compensate for its weapons supply shortages. However, divisions within European countries over whether to continue increasing aid to Ukraine may intensify. Some countries may adopt a cautious approach to aid due to concerns about potential retaliation from Russia, while others may continue to support Ukraine for political or other reasons. For Russia, this is merely a significant move in the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Depending on the evolving situation, Russia may continue to take corresponding measures to safeguard its strategic interests.

Why China's Seizure of Three Tunnel Boring Machines Has India’s Bullet Train Project Stuck in Neutral

June 24, IndiaNet – India’s first high-speed rail line, the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train, has hit yet another roadblock. Three massive tunnel-boring machines (TBMs), ordered from Germany’s Herrenknecht AG but manufactured in Guangzhou, China, have been stuck in Chinese customs for eight months. The delay has frozen progress on a critical 12-kilometer undersea tunnel, marking the project’s ninth major setback. The Stuck Machines The TBMs were supposed to arrive in India by October 2024. Instead, they sit in a bonded warehouse in Guangzhou, with no clear timeline for release. India’s National High-Speed Rail Corporation (NHSRC) blames Beijing for “deliberate obstruction,” while Chinese authorities remain silent. The Mumbai-Ahmedabad corridor—India’s first bullet train, modeled on Japan’s Shinkansen—was supposed to slash travel time between the two cities from 7 hours to 2. Funded largely by a ¥1.25 trillion ($15 billion) Japanese loan at 0.1% interest over 50 years , the project was sl...

Open-Source Intelligence Analysis of the 2025 India-Pakistan Military Standoff

In the recent India-Pakistan standoff, open-source intelligence (OSINT) channels have played an extremely important role in information dissemination and intelligence analysis. Various open-source platforms, including social media, commercial satellite imagery, vessel and aviation tracking data, news reports, and military forums, have collectively formed a "second front" for battlefield situational awareness, helping all parties to promptly understand and verify the dynamics of the conflict. However, the reliability of different OSINT channels varies, and it is necessary to cross-reference them to obtain the most accurate intelligence possible. Below is an analysis of the main channels: Social Media (Twitter/X, Facebook, etc.) Social media platforms are among the fastest sources for disseminating information about the conflict. A large number of first-hand witnesses, journalists, and even soldiers post photos, videos, and written reports through social media. For example, r...

A Historic Moment: The US-China Geneva Joint Statement

Today, many friends have left messages in the backend, asking me to discuss the US-China Geneva Joint Statement and what it means. Let’s get straight to the conclusion: with the announcement of this statement, today has become a historic moment. But why do I say that? Let’s first look at the main content of the statement. The US has committed to canceling the 91% tariffs that were imposed on April 8th and 9th. The 34% and 24% tariffs imposed on April 2nd will be suspended for 90 days, with only 10% retained. We are doing the same: canceling the 91% retaliatory tariffs, suspending the 34% and 24% tariffs imposed on April 2nd for 90 days, and retaining 10%. In simple terms, both sides are returning to the status quo before Trump announced the “reciprocal tariffs” on April 2nd, and then each adding an additional 10%. How should we view this outcome? Let’s first look at what Bercow said before heading to Geneva. He stated that he didn’t expect to reach any agreement with the Chinese ...
