Israel's Sudden Air Strikes: A New Chapter of Aggression in the Middle East

Israel has once again launched an air strike, this time targeting Lebanon. Let's get straight to the facts.

1, the air strike on Lebanon. Without any warning, Israel suddenly attacked the Nabatieh region in southern Lebanon. According to reports from CCTV and other news sources, Israel launched a fierce air strike. Local residents said that in less than 20 minutes, the Israeli military carried out at least 15 air strikes in the area north of the Litani River. You read that right, at least 15 waves of air strikes in just 20 minutes. This was clearly a premeditated and concentrated assault. By the time Lebanon could react, Israel had already left the scene.

2, the condemnation from Lebanon's Prime Minister. Immediately after the attack, Lebanese rescue personnel rushed to the site. Unlike previous occasions when Israel had attacked Palestine or Iran and tried to find various excuses to cover up its actions, this time there was no pretext for the attack on Lebanon. Such aggressive behavior, openly launching air and missile strikes on another country, has been widely condemned and denounced on global social media. Lebanon's Prime Minister Salam was furious and took to his personal social media account to denounce Israel, stating that Israel's actions blatantly violated Lebanon's national sovereignty.
3, the question of retaliation from Lebanon. Many netizens are now discussing online whether Lebanon will retaliate against Israel like Iran did. I think the likelihood is slim. Even if there is any retaliation, it would probably just be a symbolic response to satisfy domestic public opinion. Lebanon has been weakened to the brink of collapse by Israel's repeated attacks. Last year, when Israel launched a surprise attack on Lebanon, Lebanon was powerless to fight back. The local cities were devastated by Israel and have not yet recovered.
4, why has Lebanon become so weak? Let me show you some numbers to give you a clear picture. Lebanon's national currency is the Lebanese pound, and currently, 1 US dollar equals 89,600 Lebanese pounds. Israel's periodic attacks have drained Lebanon's resources, making its situation worse year by year. There is simply no room for peace and economic development. The country is suffering from severe inflation. For example, the latest data available online from 2023 shows an inflation rate of 221 percent, an unemployment rate of 11.5 percent, and a foreign debt of 42 billion US dollars. However, Lebanon's foreign exchange and gold reserves are only 13.6 billion US dollars. This is a serious case of overdrawn accounts. The situation has been even worse in the past two years. In 2024, Israel launched another surprise attack, and now in 2025, Israel is at it again. In fact, Israel has been doing this for many years. The purpose is clear to everyone: to weaken Lebanon over and over again, to prevent it from growing and becoming prosperous. As long as the opponent remains poor and destitute, it cannot pose a threat to Israel and can be easily trampled upon.
5, Israel's ambitions are fully exposed. In fact, many countries have now seen Israel's ambitions, which are to gradually devour the entire Middle East. If you pay attention, you will notice that the situation in the Middle East has been very unstable in recent years. Countries like Palestine, Syria, Iran, and Lebanon have been plagued by wars. Behind each of these conflicts, there is Israel's involvement. If this continues, how long can Saudi Arabia and Egypt remain safe? If any other country were to act this way, they would have been taught a lesson by the five permanent members of the UN Security Council long ago. But why not Israel? Moreover, why is Netanyahu still able to remain president? The reason is clear to everyone: the United States and Israel are in cahoots. But now, Israel's actions have crossed the line of what the US is willing to tolerate. The US needs Israel to stir up trouble in the Middle East to prevent Arab countries from forming a united front. However, the US does not want Israel to become too powerful. If Israel were to grow too strong and annex numerous Middle Eastern countries, it would become a major power itself. Then there would be another superpower in the world, which is definitely not what the US wants to see. Just look at the recent incident between Iran and Israel. At that time, Trump kept shouting to stop the attacks, but Israel refused to comply and continued to bomb. In the end, Trump was so angry that he cursed and scolded Israel, asking what on earth they were fighting for. It was only when the US showed that it was no longer willing to help and began to stand by and watch that Netanyahu reluctantly stopped. But just two days of peace, and now Israel is back at it again, launching a surprise attack on Lebanon for no reason. Netanyahu's intentions are now clear to everyone: he wants to provoke a major war in the Middle East and then take advantage of the chaos to grow stronger.
As for the reasons given for starting wars, no matter what they are, they are just excuses. Now, in provoking Lebanon, Israel doesn't even bother to put on a show.

Why China's Seizure of Three Tunnel Boring Machines Has India’s Bullet Train Project Stuck in Neutral

June 24, IndiaNet – India’s first high-speed rail line, the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train, has hit yet another roadblock. Three massive tunnel-boring machines (TBMs), ordered from Germany’s Herrenknecht AG but manufactured in Guangzhou, China, have been stuck in Chinese customs for eight months. The delay has frozen progress on a critical 12-kilometer undersea tunnel, marking the project’s ninth major setback. The Stuck Machines The TBMs were supposed to arrive in India by October 2024. Instead, they sit in a bonded warehouse in Guangzhou, with no clear timeline for release. India’s National High-Speed Rail Corporation (NHSRC) blames Beijing for “deliberate obstruction,” while Chinese authorities remain silent. The Mumbai-Ahmedabad corridor—India’s first bullet train, modeled on Japan’s Shinkansen—was supposed to slash travel time between the two cities from 7 hours to 2. Funded largely by a ¥1.25 trillion ($15 billion) Japanese loan at 0.1% interest over 50 years , the project was sl...

Open-Source Intelligence Analysis of the 2025 India-Pakistan Military Standoff

In the recent India-Pakistan standoff, open-source intelligence (OSINT) channels have played an extremely important role in information dissemination and intelligence analysis. Various open-source platforms, including social media, commercial satellite imagery, vessel and aviation tracking data, news reports, and military forums, have collectively formed a "second front" for battlefield situational awareness, helping all parties to promptly understand and verify the dynamics of the conflict. However, the reliability of different OSINT channels varies, and it is necessary to cross-reference them to obtain the most accurate intelligence possible. Below is an analysis of the main channels: Social Media (Twitter/X, Facebook, etc.) Social media platforms are among the fastest sources for disseminating information about the conflict. A large number of first-hand witnesses, journalists, and even soldiers post photos, videos, and written reports through social media. For example, r...

A Historic Moment: The US-China Geneva Joint Statement

Today, many friends have left messages in the backend, asking me to discuss the US-China Geneva Joint Statement and what it means. Let’s get straight to the conclusion: with the announcement of this statement, today has become a historic moment. But why do I say that? Let’s first look at the main content of the statement. The US has committed to canceling the 91% tariffs that were imposed on April 8th and 9th. The 34% and 24% tariffs imposed on April 2nd will be suspended for 90 days, with only 10% retained. We are doing the same: canceling the 91% retaliatory tariffs, suspending the 34% and 24% tariffs imposed on April 2nd for 90 days, and retaining 10%. In simple terms, both sides are returning to the status quo before Trump announced the “reciprocal tariffs” on April 2nd, and then each adding an additional 10%. How should we view this outcome? Let’s first look at what Bercow said before heading to Geneva. He stated that he didn’t expect to reach any agreement with the Chinese ...
